Connect Airbnb to MyPorter in Minutes
Connect your Airbnb account to MyPorter and import your listings and upcoming reservations automatically—without filling out another dashboard.
Setting up a guest assistant should not mean copying every listing, address, booking and guest detail into another dashboard.
That is why MyPorter can connect to your Airbnb account and bring the information you already have into your setup automatically. You start from WhatsApp, approve the connection securely, and MyPorter takes care of the import.
What the Airbnb connection imports
Once connected, MyPorter imports your Airbnb listings and your current and upcoming reservations.
For each listing, MyPorter can bring in details such as the property name, address and information already available through the connection. For reservations, it imports the stay dates and the available guest details so the right guest can be matched with the right property.
This gives you a useful starting point immediately. You can then teach MyPorter the practical knowledge that is rarely complete in a listing: where to park, how to use the heating, which key opens which door, when rubbish is collected, and the local places you genuinely recommend.
How to connect Airbnb
The whole process begins in your conversation with MyPorter on WhatsApp:
- Ask MyPorter to connect Airbnb.
- Open the private connection link in the reply.
- Follow the Airbnb authorization steps.
- Return to WhatsApp while MyPorter imports your data.
MyPorter first confirms that the account was linked successfully. When the import finishes, it sends you a second message with the number of listings and reservations imported.
There is no MyPorter password to remember and no separate integration dashboard to learn.
What happens to properties you already added
If you started setting up a property manually before connecting Airbnb, MyPorter tries to avoid creating a duplicate.
When an imported listing clearly matches an existing property, the two are linked automatically. If they look similar but the match is not certain, MyPorter asks you a simple question before merging them. If they are different places, the Airbnb listing is added as a new property.
Your own property knowledge remains important. Connecting Airbnb is designed to accelerate setup, not erase the instructions and local expertise you have already shared with MyPorter.
How the connection stays up to date
After the initial import, MyPorter receives updates when connected listing or reservation information changes. If you make a change on Airbnb and do not see it reflected yet, you can also ask MyPorter on WhatsApp to refresh or re-import your Airbnb data.
That means the connection is not a one-time spreadsheet upload. It remains linked until you decide to disconnect it.
Is the connection secure?
The link MyPorter sends is private, encrypted and time-limited. Opening it starts a fresh authorization session, and you complete the account authorization through our approved connectivity provider. MyPorter never asks you to type your Airbnb password into WhatsApp.
Connection events sent back to MyPorter are cryptographically verified before they are processed. The link also hides your internal MyPorter account identifier and cannot be altered to connect on behalf of another host.
As with any connected service, you remain in control. You can ask MyPorter to disconnect Airbnb at any time. Disconnecting stops future synchronization while keeping the properties and reservations that were already imported, so your setup does not disappear.
What happens next
Airbnb gives MyPorter the booking structure. You provide the hospitality.
After the import, setup continues in the same WhatsApp conversation. MyPorter helps you complete the details guests actually ask about and prepares each property for guest conversations. Once a guest messages your MyPorter number, the assistant can identify the relevant stay and answer using the knowledge you approved.
To begin, message MyPorter and say: “Connect my Airbnb.”
